About Me

I am delighted to see you here on this website. Let me tell you a bit about me.

I hold dual degrees of a PhD in Management and a Masters in Clinical Social Work both from the University of California in Los Angeles. Way back in 2006, I introduced mindfulness as part of my therapy work as a licensed psychotherapist at the Akasha Center for Integrative Medicine in Los Angeles. As a certified teacher of mindfulness and mindful self-compassion, I have been conducting workshops in India and the US, giving lectures, and writing about mindfulness and its power as a tool for psychological well-being in mental health, corporate and academic institutions. I am the founder of 2meditate.com a global community of mindfulness, compassion and self-compassion practitioners building personal and collective well-being.

My journey intertwines projects in the worlds of management and mental well-being. I published 'Get Mindfulness Right,' a book offering comprehensive mindfulness-based solutions to modern life's challenges, inspired by my collaboration with an ambitious MBA professional seeking mindful focus. Combining my expertise in management, psychotherapy, EMDR therapy, and mindfulness, I now serve as a well-being coach. After an initial consultation, I work with individuals to create a personalized path towards achieving their intentions and goals with greater clarity and wisdom.
